Sambalpur: A two-day State-Level Indoor Badminton Tournament was inaugurated by MBC at Maneshwar on Tuesday night
Maneswar: The State-Level Badminton Tournament has been inaugurated by the Mandhata Baba Club at the Metropolitan Corporation No. 40 Ward Maneshwar. Social worker and Ex Municipality Chairman Shri Siddharth Saha joined as the chief guest and inaugurated the tournament. Honorable Jagannath Dixit, Francis Phulkaran, Shanti Sahu, Jatin Barik, Prakash Sahu were the prominent guests.
The inaugural match was held between Sambalpur and Bolangir. A total of 24 teams from different parts of the state like Sambalpur, Bhubaneswar, Rourkela, Baleshwar, Cuttack, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Padmapur, Subarnapur have participated. Ranjita Meher, Vivek Bhushan Nayak, Vikas Purohit of MBC Club were the main managers. Tikeswar Sahu and Hemanand Thapa managed to referee the match. All members of the organizing committee are cooperating.
