Murathi Bariha (35) of Bargarh Padamppur, a worker working under a contractor named Himanshu Panda, fell suddenly and lost his life. Murathi and 2 other workers working under the contractor went there on Wednesday as there was a fault in the newly connected wire. While 2 people were below, Murati was climbing the pole and connecting the wire, suddenly it fell on the electric pole. Even after being informed about the incident, there was dissatisfaction with the delay in the arrival of the TPWODL staff. In the afternoon, with the help of the fire brigade, Murathi was brought down from the pole about 2 hours after the incident, then he was sent to the Burla Hospital. The doctor declared him dead and there was a lot of talk about his death due to electrocution, while this was denied by the TPWODL. Is it the fault of the Electricity Department or the Contractor?
Murathi was hanging on a pole. After it was known, there was a crowd of thousands of people, most of whom speculated that the death was due to electrocution, while others said that it could have been due to the sunstroke. In all this, there was a lot of talk about the mistake of the contractor working or the electricity department.
