Sambalpur: All efforts by the Vimsar authorities are in vain, Main gate turn into Autorickshaw parking lot

Burla: The people of Jharkhand and neighboring Chhattisgarh, along with 10 districts in western Odisha, are dependent on burla Vimsar for the health services in western Odisha. Thousands of patients come here every day, often in two-wheelers and four-wheelers. Earlier, patients and their families were parked in front of the main gate of the hospital. As a result, the number of patients coming in ambulances in critical condition was facing problems due to road congestion.

In October, Vimsar’s administration took a firm stand to address the issue. No more vehicles can park in front of the main gate of the hospital. Two-wheelers were parked in front of the ATM, while four-wheelers were parked near the autopsy dept. In the meantime, the executive branch of Vimsar has been instructed to take necessary steps. But now the main gate of Vimsar, has shifted to autorickshaw parking lot.

During the discharge period, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., waiting for the passenger to board the vehicle, the crowd was not present as before. Instead of telling security guards not to park, security guards from the entrance to the exit gate were seen having a sweet relationship with them. As a result, the Vimsar authorities seem to have taken a firm step. The hospital authorities need to take concrete steps again.
