Sambalpur – Balangir District Magistrate to get married soon: Engagement Ceremony is over
Sambalpur: Sambalpur District Collector Ananya Das and Balangir District Collector Chanchal Rana are going to get married soon. The Engagement Ceremony of these two IAS officers has been carried out in a very simple and straightforward manner.
According to information, the Engagement Ceremony was carried out according to traditional customs in Sambalpur District Collector’s house area. On this occasion Chanchal and Ananya’s family members, including the close relatives of both, were present. Subarnapur District Magistrate Aboli Sunil Narain and Sambalpur SP B. Gangadhar also attended the event. Chanchal and his family members came to Sambalpur yesterday for the event and both Chanchal and Ananya went to a jewellery shop yesterday and bought gold jewellery.
It is worth mentioning here that this is the second marriage of both of them, the daughter of Assam, Ananya, was married to Koraput district magistrate Abdul M. Akhtar. Both of them divorced each other due to disagreements. Chanchal, who studied and grew up in Odisha, was previously married to Rayagada District Collector Swadha Dev Singh. The two also recently divorced each other for the same reason.
While Chanchal and Ananya got engaged very privately on Sunday, exclusive sources said that their wedding is set soon.
