Bamra: South Eastern Railways’ Chakradharpur Divisional Railway Editor Arun J Rathore rushed to Bamra following the untoward incident on Thursday. So the train stay was stopped at Bamra for one day. But because someone spread a false rumor that there would be no more trains, people got agitated and created such a situation. 11 pairs of trains already existing at Bamra will remain as before. Tickets will be available for those trains and reservation counters will continue as usual. So he appealed to the people to maintain peace and order. He also appealed to the public through a video message.
Don’t believe the rumours: East Coast Railway
The East Coast Railway has also appealed to the people to maintain peace and order in the Bamra incident. In a video message, East Coast Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Biswajit Sahu said that there have been rumors in some media about the closure of the ticket reservation counter by the railway authorities in Bamra. But that is false news. The reservation counter is still open. 16 train were allowed to stay there before covid. Post-Covid, 7 trains were allowed to stay. Recently, four more trains have been approved for accommodation. A total of 11 trains are stopped there. He said that the accommodation of the remaining 5 trains is also being considered.
