When asked about the counterfeit notes, Sambalpur SDP B. Gangadhar said a team from the State Tax Force (STF) Cuttack raided the Jujumura police station area today and seized a printer and some counterfeit notes. one person also arrested in this case.
According to reports, the STF confiscated some counterfeit notes a few days ago. A case was filed in this regard. The Jujumura police raided a public service center in Adhapara late last night after receiving information from the accused arrested in the incident. From there with counterfeit notes the printer was seized.
A man named Papu has been arrested in connection with the case. At the same time, it has links to Devgarh district. The STF team from Cuttack was on its way to Devgarh this evening with Papu. However, the printing of counterfeit notes from areas such as Adhapara has caused a great deal of controversy.
