Sambalpur: DFO Vishwanath reached Umling La Pass in Ladakh by Bicycle

Sambalpur: Sambalpur DFO Vishwanath Nilamvar has once again come to the spotlight after covering a distance of 550 kilometers on a bicycle. He achieved this record by reaching the Umling La Pass at a height of 19025 feet from Leh on a bicycle.

He set out on July 14th to reach the world’s highest mountain, La Pass, which is accessible by road, and reached on the 22nd. A group of 46 cyclists set out for Umlinga La Pass, which is higher than Everest Base Camp. However, only 35 people succeeded. Vishwanath is said to be possibly the first Indian Forest Service officer to achieve this feat. The program was organized by Youth Hostel.
