Sambalpur: Dr. Raseswari Panigrahi Will Become Governor After Election

Sambalpur: Former MLA Dr. Raseswari Panigrahi is expected to play a significant role in the current election campaign. Rumors are circulating in Sambalpur that she might be appointed as the governor after the elections.

When contacted, Dr. Panigrahi clarified the rumors, saying, “No one has told me anything about being appointed as the governor.” She added, “In a democracy, everyone has the right to freely express their opinions. I made it clear yesterday that I do not want to take any particular side or get involved in politics.”

Dr. Panigrahi further stated, “I am a bonafide voter, so I will listen to the campaign pitches of all the parties that come to my house seeking votes. I did not approach the BJD in 2014, 2019, or 2024 for a ticket. In 2014, the party called me and offered me a ticket. This time, I did not inform anyone about my intentions. I have no comments regarding the party’s decision to give the ticket to someone else. I will continue to serve the people based on their trust in me.”

Dr. Panigrahi acknowledged the ongoing discussions and speculations about her potential role or appointment.
