Sambalpur: Fatak Durga Puja; Invocation to Maa Durga in Bengali Rituals

Sambalpur: Fatak Durga Puja has completed 69 years this year. Committee editor Sushant Dansana said that this year also like every year, Maa Durga will be worshipped in Bengali rituals. This year, while there is a budget of Rs 18 lakh, about Rs 6 lakh will be spent on the main pandal.

The main pandal will have bees in Lotus flowers, which are being made by the artisans of Queen Decorations, Jharsuguda. 5.5 lakh rupees will be spent by the committee for lighting decoration. The committee has said that the Bisarjan will be held on Friday, October 7. While a budget of Rs 2 lakh has been kept for Bhasani this year, Dhaki baja, Akhada, Bell, Dulduli will become the attraction.
