Sambalpur: Gudeshwar Baba’s “Thal Utha” Program has commenced for the famous Sital Shasthi Jatra
Sambalpur: One of the prominent Shiva shrines in Sambalpur city, the famous Sital Shasthi festival of Shri Gudeswar Baba, has commenced with the rituals of offering the ceremonial plate (ଥାଳଉଠା).
According to the rituals, the worship of Baba was done first. Priest Rajkumar Mohapatra performed the “Thal Utha” rituals and offerings. The pandit collected the items accordingly. The groom’s parents: Residents of Badabazar, Sushant Shekhar Raut and Anjali Raut, and the bride’s parents: Residents of Durgapali, Narottam Behera, and Namita Behera, carried out the responsibilities.
Present at the event were Shasthi Committee President Deepak Kumar Pandey, Secretary Arta Mishra, Manoj Upadhyay, Anil Tibrewal, Pranab Mishra, Lalit Agrawal, Pradeep Tulsiyan, Manoj Khemka, and Mukesh Jariwal.
