Sambalpur: Illuminated street lights is not functioning on Deer Park Road

Sambalpur: In Dhanupali Police Station Deer Park Road, the Street lights are not lit. Only 3 of the 30 Street lights from the District Judge’s residence to the Deer Park Gate are glowing. The remaining 27 Street lights are not functioning. While this road is popular for robberies, it is rumored to be a hot spot for drug trafficking. But the Sambalpur Metropolitan Corporation (SMC) authorities have not repaired the streetlights even though the road remained dark for several days. Due to which people are afraid to go on the said road in the evening. It is demanded to repair the streetlights as soon as possible.
