Sambalpur: The first day of grain collection was successfully completed in Sambalpur district today with the opening of markets. On the first day, 63 farmers have sold 9629 packets of paddy in various mandi buying centers. According to the information received, 8 farmers bought 1,400 packets in Bareipali Mandi, 5 farmers bought 878 packets in Garmunda buying center, 6 people bought 961 packets in Kainsir, 2 farmers bought 293 packets in Ladukhai, 4 farmers bought 481 packets in Chaurpur, 6 farmers bought 669 packets in Kud Amilpali. packets, 6 farmers in Kankhinda 849 packets, 4 farmers in Bishalkhinda 460 packets, 9 farmers in Themra 356 packets, 1 farmer in Sindurpank 188 packets, 2 farmers in Gudesingha 340 packets, 3 farmers in Bhikhampur 590 packets, 1 farmer in Mirgamunda 166 packets, in Nuabarangamal 2 farmers sold 100 3 packets, 8 farmers sold 13 30 packets in Kukudapali, 160 packets in Giripali and 82 packets in Khaliapali. Out of the 62 mandi procurement centers of Sadar sub-district, only 18 received paddy today. According to the departmental sources, Mandi was opened in Bareipali Mandi today with statutory pujacharana. On this occasion, discussions were held with the farmers regarding the collection of paddy. Sadar Upazilapal Prabhas Dansana formally started the paddy collection in Mandi today. Chief District Supply Officer Ramchandra Tudu, DRCS. Along with Lingaraj Naik, other officers of RMC, Supply and Cooperative Department were present. The farmers were warned during the discussion that any disturbance in the process will not be tolerated.
