Sambalpur: The Shivalayas in Sambalpur city are preparing for the upcoming Mahashivratri celebration on March 8. A preparation meeting of the city’s Shiva Mandir, Management Committee set the groundwork for a vibrant celebration, focusing on enhancing the festive spirit of the Jagar Yatra.

In preparation for Mahashivratri, the temple grounds are being properly cleaned, and vibrant lights are being adorned to create a special ambiance for devotees. Temple committees are actively planning meetings for the Naam Sankirtan and night celebration which will bring a spiritual depth to the festivities.

Final preparations for Mahashivratri celebrations at the Bhavani Shankar Temple in Bareipali Shilpanchal are nearly complete. The Bhavani Shankar Temple Management Committee organized a meeting to encourage community participation and engagement during the night celebrations.
