Sambalpur: Mahanadi Coal Fields Limited (MCL) will provide 50 e-rickshaws to the disabled

Sambalpur: Mahanadi Coal Fields Limited (MCL) will provide e-rickshaws to 50 disabled. MCL will provide these e-rickshaws under its CSR project ‘Sakhsam’. An MoU was signed between MCL and Sambalpur district administration on Thursday. By providing these e-rickshaws, the underprivileged will get a chance to earn a living. Along with this, it will also help in promoting a green and clean environment through electric transport, MCL said.

The agreement was signed by General Manager (CSR) Rajnikant Panigarahi on behalf of MCL and Madanjit Hota, District Social Security Officer of Sambalpur on behalf of the district administration. According to the agreement, all the money for e-rickshaws has been paid by MCL to the district administration.
