In Sambalpur city, people are not getting rid of the problem of drinking water supply. In fact, even after the rains come, People of many areas are seen lining up on the roadside for drinking water. On the other hand, people have been getting only water containing mud for almost 2 weeks now. In the water collected in the container, a thick clayey mud layer is seen coagulation at the bottom. and after Jaundice in Sambalpur people boil Phd water and drink it. But now It is afraid to drink even boiled water. Sambalpur city has been converted into a metropolitan corporation for 8 years. Even today, the city dwellers are deprived of basic services. Even drinking water is not available to the residents of the city till today, even the pipe connection has not been done in all parts of the city. As a result, many residents of the area are still relying on tank water. On the other hand, the situation is alarming not only in the dry season but also in the rainy season as the water supply continues to be irregular. In such a situation, since the torrential rains started, the muddy water has become a concern. Just a few minutes after opening the tap and collecting water in a bucket or bucket, a thick layer of mud-like soil is found living at the bottom. It is alleged that people are afraid to drink this water even after boiling it. However, not for a day or two, since the rains have been in such a state, there has been dissatisfaction among the people as the situation has not been remedied. This PHD created a situation like a jaundice epidemic in Sambalpur city for water. Many people lost their lives. Since then, PHD has argued that water treatment should be given priority, but in reality, this dirty water is an example of neglect.
