Sambalpur: Radhashtami festival is celebrated with grand pomp at ISKCON Burla Temple
Burla: Today, Radhashtami festival is celebrated with grand pomp at ISKCON Burla Temple. On this occasion, Mangal Aarti was performed at morning 4.30 a.m. Darshan Aarti was done at 7:30 in the morning. After this, Shripad Pada Seva Das and Shripad Sandipani Muni Das delivered the Radha doctrine and the importance and magnificence of Radhashtami observance through the Bhagavat speech. After this, at 10:30 a.m., the consecration of the idols of Radhakrishna and various worship materials was performed.
On day 12.30 p.m., Maha Aarti was performed and Mahaprasad was distributed to all the devotees. Around 500 devotees participated in the said festival and participated in Naam Sankirtan and dance songs with great joy and celebrated the festival in grand style.
The Program was successfully completed under the direct supervision of the senior devotees of the temple, Shripad Amayi Das, Shripad Sanjeev Das, and Ashrit Krishna Das.
