Sambalpur: Three suspected robbers arrested, Firearms, Guns, Bullets and Chili Powder were seized
Atabira: Five suspects were arrested in the Godbhaga area of Bargarh district’s Atabira police station on the 16th June. Similarly, another robbery gang was arrested by Atabira police on Thursday night.
While police were patrolling last night, three suspected robbers were arrested in the Saranda Chowk area, with a 7.65mm automatic pistol, two live bullets, a triangular firearm, a Jupiter scooter (OD15 – Q – 1861), Everest chili powder, three mobile phones, Rs. 1270 were seized.
The arrested youths are Sagar Suna (19) of Gosala in Burla police station, Alok Kand (33) of Durgapali in Sambalpur Khetrajpur police station and Ashik alias Ashish Kand (26) of Mudipada in Sambalpur town police station.
Yesterday, the suspect was walking around. Upon receiving the news, police officers Anil Pradhan, SI Yadav Bagh, SI Bipin Bagh, Suresh Sahu, Akash Pradhan, Pankajini Tripathi, Srivastava Mirza, Srikant Behera raided and arrested the accused. Three accused have been arraigned in court today
