Sambalpur: Today is Ratha Yatra, but the condition of Dhanupali-Govindtola road is miserable

Sambalpur: World famous Ratha Yatra will be celebrated. According to the Odia tradition, in all parts of the state including Puri, the Rathayatra is celebrated in grand ceremonies. There have been preparations everywhere for this. In this context, Ratha Yatra will also be celebrated in different areas of Sambalpur city. All preparations were made for this. The attention of the administration was also drawn to repair the road which fell into disrepair before the procession.

According to the complaint that the Ratha Yatra will be held, meetings and various activities have been held for the last one month in preparation for the Ratha Yatra. In this context, road extension work is going on from Jail Chowk Street to Dhanupali. As a result, drains are being dug in various villages and other works are going on. In this way, the roads are narrowed and traffic problems are created. The people of Govindtola area have protested that the road will remain as it was before, and the chariot will pass through the said road. The residents of the area drew the attention of the administration in less than a month to accept it. But the irony is that today, when the procession is going to take place, the roads are also in a very bad condition. There has been a strong reaction among the residents of the area regarding this. The public demanded an immediate solution to the problem.
