Sambalpur: Vimsar’s Officials and OMTA have been in a sort of tussle
BURLA: Vimsar officers are being retaliated against by OMTA (Odisha Medical Teachers Association) for raising their voice against problems and inefficiencies caused in Vimsar. Issued a show cause notice to OMTA Burla branch Secretary Dr. Jinita Bag. Meanwhile, OMTA president Prof. Pramod Sharma said that the association was in favor of the Secretary, then Vimsar and OMTA have been in a sort of tussle(fight).
Like every month, the staff academic meeting was held on the last day of the month on 31st August, followed by the OMTA meeting. The OMTA meeting was attended by Vimsar Head and Dean Prof. Jayshree Dora, Superintendent Prof. Lalmohan Naik, and Chancellor Prof. Bhabgrahi Rath. OMTA Secretary Dr. Jinita Bag and Head Prof. Dora came face to face in this meeting.
While the 7th Pay Commission dues have been received by all the employees, then why the doctors of Vimsar have not received their full dues, Dr. Bag asked Prof. Dora. She said that sometimes 10 percent of the outstanding amount is paid, sometimes 20 percent and sometimes 40 percent. Why is the full amount not paid till date?
