Sambalpur: What is the purpose of the Metropolitan Corporation? , Problem of Non-Existence of Water at Kumbharpada
Sambalpur: The main road of Sambalpur city is near VSS Marg. Even though Kumbarpada was living in the metropolis, the people here are living a miserable life. The administration has failed to provide minimum facilities to the area’s people. There is a need for drinking water in the pada while the drain water is flowing on the road and the villagers are dependent on a tubewell as in the remote areas. Pipe water is not coming to Bhagat Temple Street, School Street, and Bose Colony under Ward No. 31 of SMC. Water is not coming for 10 minutes and it is not reaching most of the houses. When the tap is opened, only the wind is coming.
Sewerage is flowing on the road
People here are facing the problem of the non-existence of water. The tube well near the school for is the hope for drinking and bathing. When men go to the river to bath, problems arise for the elderly and women, after repeated complaints that the supply of water in the tank is not regular for eight days. Even after repeated phone calls, the tank did not come on Wednesday. On the other hand, after the privatization of the cleaning industry, the women complained that the cleaning staff did not come to work. when they come they are busy taking photos. Rohit and Deepak, two cleaners who were already working in the area, are not coming. The drain has not cleared for many months. Due to being buried in sand and soil, the worm of the drain is frozen in front of the house. Not to mention the condition of rainy days, well-drained water seeps into people’s houses and creates unsanitary conditions.
