Sambalpur Zone Level Annual Competition:Astha in Saregama, Annada in Debate First

Sambalpur: The Sambalpur Zone Level Annual Debate and Saregama Competition, sponsored by ‘Sambad Group4’, has been held at Sakshipada ‘Sambad Bhavan’ and Tapaswini District Auditorium respectively. In Saregama, 31 contestants and 28 contestants took part in the debate. Odisha State Open University student Annada Das came first, Saraswat Degree College, Godbhagar student Sumit Kumar Pradhan came second and Gangadhar Meher University Sambalpur student Supriti Sahu came third.

Similarly, Astha Mohapatra, a student of Vikas Institute of Technology in Saregama, came first, Ronak Mohanty, a student of Utkal Music College Bhubaneswar, and Yogeshwar Das, a student of Panchayat College Bargarh, came third. In the debate, Gangadhar Meher University Chairman Bhim Bhoi Chairperson Dr. Pradeep Panda, two retired professors of the Department of English, Meher University, Gangadhar. Kamdev Sahu and Dr. Vishnupriya Hota joined as a judge. In Saregama, senior singer Bibhuti Patnaik, musician Shankar Pradhan, popular folk singer and lyricist Sarveshwar Vhoi and vocalist Jh. Debasmita Mishra was the judge.
