The BJD leader was accused of making obscene remarks on Facebook to woman leader
A Sambalpur leader was accused of making indecent remarks last Wednesday on facebook to a woman leader. After the woman leader lodged a written complaint with the Cyber Police, Police began investigating. However, police have arrested two people, including Dulal Chandra Rai, a resident of Bengalipada area of Badabazar, Khetrajapur police station, the main accused in the case.
According to reports, a few days ago, the woman leader’s Facebook received a message from an unknown Facebook ID where she was widely criticized. The leader did not know who sent the message. Eventually she took it to the door of the cyber police station. Cyber police arrested Dulal Chandra Rai, the main accused in the case, and Shatrughan Raut of Malipada Badabazar and took them to court on Sunday. So Dulal did himself or anyone else in the criticism, is still not known. The cyber police are investigating.
How they did this cleverness
Earlier, Dulal in connection with in charge of the Sambalpur BJD’s IT cell, was rumored to have made such obscene remarks with malicious intent to the concerned leader. Dulal did so cleverly so as not to be caught. One of the arrested suspects, Shatrughan Raut, has a mobile phone shop. Dulal first bought a SIM from him under a different name. He then used the mobile number to create a fake account on Facebook named “Sony Sony.” He then sent obscene messages to defame a state-level woman leader belong from a wealthy family. After the complaint, police succeed in found the mobile shop where the sim is purchased and arrest the main culprit Dulal Rai. He has been arraigned today. According to reliable sources, Dulal has opened many more fake accounts on social media.
