The forest department set fire to the house of a Sambalpur forest dweller

The forest department on Thursday reached the offices of the Sambalpur district magistrate and the SDP, demanded immediate action. All the houses in the village were burnt down, and all the money and clothes were burnt to ashes today. People have been living there for 20 to 25 years. The Forest Service set fire to the house, but no one was notified. This was stated by Prashant Kumar, President of the Adivasi Dalit Sena. However, on the 8th, the locals went to the Jujumura police station to lodge a complaint. However, the Jujumura police station did not file a complaint and locals and members of the Odisha Tribal Dalit Army cordoned off the Sambalpur SDP’s office on Thursday. A delegation also discussed the matter with the Sambalpur SDP.
