Sambalpur: Third Evening of Hirakud Festival, Labani Dance of Mumbai Capture the mind of audience

Hirakud: The third evening of the Hirakud festival is celebrated amid colorful events at Hirakud Subas Ground. Redhakhol MLA Rohit Pujari was the guest of honor on the third evening. Vishal Das, Sunil Parida, and Sudhir Dayan were present as chief guests of honor. After Manch Pujan, the third evening program started with the entry of Kansa Maharaj. Early Samlei hymns were sung by Chetanamayi Behera. Then Chetnamayi, Pushpakraj Suna, and Srimanta Behera performed Sambalpuri folk songs. Dhanupali art and artists performed Sambalpuri folk dance. The Rahul Halder Troupe from Mumbai entertained the audience through Labni dance. Balangir Tushara’s Krishnapriya Kalaparisad’s dance, Hirakuda’s Maa Karamsani Folk Dance Troupe, and Zigzag Dance Academy’s Sambalpuri Folk Dance managed to enthrall the audience on the third evening. Sanjeev Panda conducted the stage. Hirakud Festival Committee President Dr. Cultural secretary Ranjan Hota and co-secretary Shrimant Behera contributed to the program under the chairmanship of Rajkumar Badapanda.
