West Odisha Development Council Chairman’s visit to Sambalpur
Sambalpur: Asit Tripathi, chief advisor to the chief minister and chairman of the West Odisha Development Council, visited Sambalpur for a day and reviewed various development works. He first visited the CRPF camp at Goshala and saw the guest house, tennis court, golf court etc. Discussed various issues with the CRPF DIG.
Mr. Tripathi visited the terracotta works in Dhankuda Block Basantpur Panchayat Sahajbahal which needed improvement and held discussions with SHG and PRI members. Dhankuda block Kalamati GP praised the farmers after seeing the dragon fruit cultivation at Karnapali. Visited the fish pond. Mr. Tripathi saw the beautification of the proposed Durgapali pond. The proposed Convention Center near the SBI Head Office, reviewed the development of the proposed Eco Park at Kuluthkani.
District Magistrate Ananya Das, West Odisha Development Council CEO Ajit Mishra, PD DRDA Phillip Kumar Bal, Sambalpur Metropolitan Corporation Chief Pradeep Sahu and other department officials were present during the visit. In the evening, Mr. Tripathi reviewed the improvement work of various departments in the district at Burla Ashok residence.
