Child Vomited Blood After Eating the Chocolate Given as a Gift
A minor died a few days ago in Punjab’s Patiala after eating cake on his birthday, and a tragic occurrence has been reported in Punjab’s Ludhiana. A one-and-a-half-year-old child vomited blood after eating chocolate.
Vicky, a sick child’s relative, stated that the girl and her family visited a relative in Patiala. The child received chocolate as a gift. The child ate the chocolate once he arrived home. His health eventually deteriorated. The child also vomited up blood. We quickly transported him to the hospital for treatment. There, the doctor is continuing his treatment.
When this information became public, a team from the health department launched an investigation. Later, the shop was raided where chocolates were purchased for the little girl. During this time it was found that the chocolate was sold despite its expiration date.
Furthermore, the health officials seized a large number of expired items from the shop. The police have opened a case and are continuing to investigate.
