Sambalpur: A Traffic Police Officer Caused a Disturbance and Attacked People in Fatak

Sambalpur: According to reports, on Friday night at about 2:00 AM, a traffic police officer was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and engaged in disruptive and violent behavior near the Fatak which comes under Ainthapali Police Station. Eyewitnesses report that the on-duty traffic cop, who was intoxicated, became irritated for unknown reasons and started causing a disturbance in the area.

Local people were alarmed by the event and immediately called the police authorities, which resulted in the officer’s arrest and temporary detention at the police station. Following the event, the police tried to protect the officer’s safety, sending him to the district hospital for an examination.

After receiving the appropriate medical attention, the officer was returned to the police station, where further investigations are expected to take place.
